Christmas 2010 Competition..!


Over the last few months of 2009, I gave away a large number of my little 'Santas' figure sets.  




It's now time to use those figures!  

I would like to see those figures appearing in dioramas, and I will reward the three best entries with vouchers to be used on this website.

All you have to do is:

1. Create a diorama using one, or several of the figures from set R72625 'Santas'; this does not necessarily need to be of a military nature.

2. Send me (retrokit@retrokit.net) at least three pictures of your completed diorama; those pictures need to show the whole diorama, from at least two different view points; additional pictures, maybe showing close-ups and details can be added to the three required 'overal view' pictures.  The deadline for sending me your pictures is the 6th of December 2010 (St Nicolas day, of course!), 11.59pm GMT.  Along with the pictures, a short text explaining the work done (make of models, conversion work done if any,..) and the idea behind your diorama will be most welcome!  Your pictures will be published on this website.





Judging will be done by a panel of experienced modellers (to be announced) who will not be entering this competition.  The best three entries will be selected by 10 December 2010, and announced on this website on that day.  Judging criteria will focus on quality of execution and originality.  Photo-shoped backgrounds will be allowed.

The prizes are:

1st Prize: 120 euros voucher

2nd Prize: 60 euros voucher

3rd Prize: 30 euros voucher


Note: if you have not qualified in late 2009 for your free Santas set, any order over 75 euros will qualify you for a free Santas set throughout 2010.
